me and my belly...

well this is me... 36 weeks pregnant!

No time to feel sorry for yourself second time round, but the bump does make a handy seat for your toddler ;-)

I am officially on maternity leave and getting prepared for number 2!

I will be taking bookings from November, so please all do contact me whenever you please to start making your bookings. I will only be working on a very part-time basis, so will be filling up my weeks and months fast, so get in there quickly! Please email me for all my latest packages.

Next blog will of course be some pictures of our new arrival.

waddling around the garden with my camera...

I have ordered a beautiful frame for my sons room to go with his blue and white 'sea' theme room.

After much waddling around in our garden yesterday trying to get some decent shots of him to go in his room, this is what I've decided on. 3 year olds are not the easiest to get what you want them to do, especially when you have to stay behind the camera, have no help and are 37 weeks pregnant!

But I'm sure all will work out really well in his room.

It's always nice to plan ahead your colour schemes prior your photoshoot, so you can use the photo's in a way that makes all your decor tie together well.

Just a couple pictures of a beautiful frame and 2 coffee table books purchased by one of my overseas customers.

It is so nice to see the finished product and that I am in control of making sure every detail is perfect!

I am soon to have my second child and now that I'm on maternity leave I've finally had the time to update my website, work on advertising and also update my price lists and what I have to offer.

I am excited to say that I prints are finally included in my packages. I have also established very reasonable deals for pretty much any frame you would like made - whatever combination of photo's you would like can all be custom-made through me.

MY STORY

My love for photography began following the birth of my gorgeous son in August 2008 at Kingston hospital. My growing family became my inspiration as I sought to capture every one of "life’s little moments". We thought we had the most photographed child in the world! But as a mom, I am keenly aware of the all-too-fleeting nature of childhood and the importance of having lasting images that are able to take us back to that time of happiness and wonder each time we look at them. Capturing the very essence of a newborn or a child’s genuine expressions and natural beauty is not only extraordinarily difficult, but it requires a bit of patience and creativity. It is my soul objective to create timeless portraits that show your child’s individuality in an honest and comforting way. I want to write a storybook on a day in the life of your child, captured through pictures that warm your soul in difficult times and show the wonderful moments we all take for granted and have difficulty remembering. I specialise in creative, non-traditional and contemporary portraiture of maternity, newborns, babies and children. I am passionate about creating images that will tug at your heart and bring a smile to your face each and every time you see them.
